You might have a hard time trying to spot the creature in a few of
these photos, but that’s because the Satanic Leaf-tailed Gecko is a
master of disguise. All 9 cm of the gecko literally looks exactly like a
leaf, right down to the grungy, dead leaf tail.
And those eyes! Guess that’s where the “Satanic” part of its name
comes from! The creature has small crests over his glassy eyes that give
him a menacing look. Some Satanic Leaf-tailed Geckos even have red eyes
which i’m sure really freak other animals out when all they think they
had been looking at was a leaf to begin with.
